Laserlabor (PIV, LIF/LIEF)

 Responsible: Dipl.-Ing. Florian Schulz

Lasers can be used for a variety of modern applications. They open up the possibility of visualizing complex processes. The exact definition of the position and the time of the exposure are helpful. A very short exposure time with high pulse powers is necessary for imaging fast events, such as those that take place during injection processes. For modern evaluation algorithms, such as Particle Image Velocimetry, high-quality recordings are a basic requirement for a meaningful result.
